How we handle your personal data in compliance with the GDPR.

This policy describes how colocation-sqy.fr collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data controller

The data controller is the company SQY LOC (SA), whose registered office is located at 2 place de l'Égalité, 78280 Guyancourt, France, represented by Rémi Bichot in his capacity as Chairman. Contact: [email protected].

Data collected

We collect only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below.

Via the viewing request form

  • First name, last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Desired property and time slot
  • Free-text message
  • IP address at the time of submission (technical, server log)

Via testimonials (if you submit one)

  • First name and last-name initial
  • Occupation (optional)
  • Rating (1 to 5 stars)
  • Free-text quote
  • Photo (optional)

Via browsing

We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own servers, a privacy-friendly audience-measurement tool:

  • No tracking cookies
  • No personal data or unique identifier
  • Aggregated data only (page views, traffic sources, countries)
  • No transfer outside the EU

Purposes of processing

  • Respond to your viewing request and arrange the viewing
  • Send you a confirmation email and a commercial follow-up within 48 hours
  • Publish your testimonial on the site (only if you have explicitly consented)
  • Measure site traffic in an aggregated and anonymous way
  • Combat spam (via Cloudflare Turnstile, without tracking)

Legal basis

  • Viewing request: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR)
  • Testimonials: explicit consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR)
  • Anonymous audience measurement: legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR)

Retention period

  • Viewing request: 3 years from the last contact, then archiving or deletion
  • Published testimonials: as long as they are online, or until a removal request
  • Server logs (IP, technical): 1 year
  • Plausible Analytics data: 2 years, aggregated without individual identification

Data recipients

Your data is never sold. It is accessible only to Rémi Bichot and to the strictly necessary technical service providers:

  • Resend (sending of transactional emails) — EU region, Ireland
  • Cloudflare (site delivery, Turnstile anti-spam) — without access to email content
  • Postgres hosting and storage: private server in France

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time (in particular for testimonials)

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

The colocation-sqy.fr website does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site may be placed (for example, the login session for the administrator area). These cookies do not require your consent.

Security

We implement all reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS encryption across the entire site, restricted server access, continuous monitoring, regular backups.
