These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the colocation-sqy.fr website. By browsing this site, you accept these terms without reservation.

Purpose of the site

The purpose of the colocation-sqy.fr website is to present the furnished flatshares offered by SQY LOC in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Guyancourt, Montigny-le-Bretonneux) and to allow prospective tenants to request a viewing.

Access to the site

Access to the site is free of charge. The costs of accessing and using the telecommunications network are borne by the user.

We reserve the right, without notice or compensation, to close the site temporarily or permanently, in particular to carry out an update, maintenance operations, or modifications or changes to operational methods, servers or access hours.

Use of the site

The user undertakes to use the site fairly and in accordance with its intended purpose. In particular, the user undertakes to:

• Not attempt to access parts of the site that are not explicitly open to them
• Not disrupt the operation of the site (attacks, intensive scraping, abusive automation)
• Not impersonate a third party
• Not transmit unlawful or defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when completing a form

Intellectual property

Viewing request and application

Submitting a viewing request via the form does not constitute a booking. It marks the beginning of a pre-contractual exchange. The actual allocation of a room is subject to:

• Mutual agreement between the parties after a viewing (in person or virtual)
• The provision of a complete and compliant tenant application file
• The signing of an individual furnished rental lease
• Payment of the security deposit according to the conditions communicated

We reserve the right to refuse any application without having to justify our decision, in compliance with the non-discrimination rules provided for by law.

Validation of the application file

Submitting an application file, whether partial or complete, in no way guarantees the allocation of a room. Allocation remains subject to prior validation of the application file by the publisher, as well as to verification of the authenticity, accuracy and validity of the supporting documents provided. This verification may, where applicable, be entrusted to an independent auditing body appointed for this purpose. Any inaccurate, incomplete, falsified or non-compliant document results in the rejection of the application, without the publisher’s liability being incurred.

Organisation of video-call viewings

Video-call viewings, conducted via WhatsApp, constitute an advanced stage of the application process. In order to ensure personalised support and quality follow-up, these viewings are arranged only after receipt of a complete application file and following a pre-selection. This arrangement allows the publisher to devote the necessary time and attention to candidates whose application is finalised and seriously committed. No viewing, in person or virtual, may be required prior to this stage.

Testimonials

The testimonials published on the site come from former tenants who have given their explicit consent to publication. They are moderated before publication. Any testimonial that is manifestly false or defamatory will be removed.

The site may contain links to third-party sites (Studapart, Google Maps, Kuula, social networks). We exercise no control over these sites and cannot be held responsible for their content or their privacy policy.

Liability
